vjekoslav_bevanda-01Chairman of the BIH Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda told ‘Dnevni Avaz’ yesterday in Brussels and after BiH signed an agreement between our country and Croatia on border crossings and the agreement on border traffic, said that a dot has been placed on negotiation process, which he thinks has been successfully completed.

Bevanda explained that BiH has obtained all that is important.

“The two agreements, on border traffic and border crossings have been signed, and the crossing of people and goods has been defined. The conditions for the smooth movement of goods and people have been created. In addition, a statement has been signed that defines the free passage to the port of Ploče. I would say that this is a good day for BiH’’, said Bevanda.

He added that the negotiations of BiH have been successfully realized, and showed that it could cooperate with the EU. Also, he said that it is necessary to hold discussions, and not to use manipulation and other things that aggravate the situation and to strive to seek a solution. Bevanda believes that, when there is will and good intentions, then a solution can be reached.

When it come to the accession of Croatia to the EU and issues that are hanging over the head of BiH citizens-will BiH be prepared on 1 July, Bevanda said that it is all up to us.

He recalled that individuals warned a few months ago that the border crossing with Croatia would not be finished, and it turned out that it would open on time. There were similar speculations also when it came to the agreement of Croatia and BIH and of border crossings and border traffic, which was done on time.

“Now we need to work on training accredited houses, boost the economy and provide incentives for entrepreneurs to make their products work well and to place them on the European market’’, concluded Bevanda.

Bevanda said that yesterday in Brussels there was a ceremonial atmosphere, and that there was no space for discussions with European officials on other topics concerning BiH.

Bevanda also contragulated Croatia on its entry to the EU, and to the EU for the ‘’admission of a quality country, Croatia’’.
