Having recently obtained a license to export chicken to the European Union, BiH received another approval seven days ago – to export poultry meat products.
This was confirmed by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic.
“We are doing the best part of business now. In addition to these four companies that have been in the process of obtaining the European number now, there are others as well. There are, at least a dozen of them that can export to the EU.
Seven days ago, we received from the competent authority of the European Commission another license, which is the export of poultry meat and meat products, which until now was not the case.
This is good news because as much as we export chicken meat we export so much more expensive and much more financially profitable products.
This is a chance for our Perutnina from Srbac, for Argeta from Sarajevo. I think the whole poultry sector will use this chance,”Sarovic said for N1.
