BiH recorded Increase of Exports in the First Two Months of 2017?

Import Export Data nap.baBiH recorded an increase of exports worth 1.543 billion BAM in January and February this year, which represents an increase of 14.2 % in comparison to the same period last year, while imports amounted to 2.407 billion BAM, which is more by 11.5 %.

The coverage of imports by exports in that period amounted to 64.1 %, while foreign trade deficit amounted to 864 million BAM.

According to the Agency for Statistics, exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 211 million BAM in these two months, which is increased by 36.7 % in comparison to the same period in 2016, while imports amounted to 273 million BAM, which represents the increase of 2.5 %. The coverage of imports by exports with CEFTA countries amounted to a total of 77.5 %.

In the first two months of this year, compared to the same period last year, exports to EU countries amounted to 1.15 billion BAM, which represents the increase by 10.7 %, while imports amounted to a total of 1.44 billion BAM, which is more by 8 %. The coverage of imports by exports with the EU countries amounted to 79.8 %.
