The gross production of electricity in Bosnia and Herzegovina in November last year was 1,426 gigawatt-hours, which is 6.42 percent more than the same month in 2022 and 17.27 percent more than the previous month.
In the total gross production, hydropower plants participated with 42.6 percent, thermal power plants with 54.5 percent, and solar and wind power plants with 2.9 percent, according to the data of the BiH Statistics Agency.
The gross production of hydropower plants in November last year was 607 gigawatt-hours, which is 80.65 percent more than in the same month of 2022, and 110.76 percent more than in October last year.
When it comes to the gross production of thermal power plants in the eleventh month of last year, it amounted to 778 gigawatt-hours, which is 19.38 percent less compared to November 2022 and 12.49 percent less than October 2023.
The gross production of solar and wind power plants in November last year was 41 gigawatt-hours and is higher by 5.13 percent compared to the same month in 2022, by how much higher it is compared to the previous month, Srna news agency writes.
