Swimmer Zerina Vrabac (15 years old) won a silver medal in the 200-meter butterfly race, which is the second medal for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s athletes at the XVIII Summer European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF), for male and female athletes between the ages of 14 and 18, which is held in Skopje and Kumanovo in North Macedonia and the Croatian co-organizer city of Osijek.

In the final, Vrabac swam this section in 2:15.54 and took second place. Hungarian Boroka Zsofia Kertesz won, who achieved a time of 2:12.05, while the third Italian Michelle Montagnini achieved a time of 2:16.51.

The first medal for the Bosnian and Herzegovina team at this competition was won last night by shot putter Enhar Mahmić (born June 5, 2008), with a new personal best of 19.34 meters, which was the first and won the gold medal.

Mahmić also improved his personal best with the 5-kilogram shot put by as much as 55 centimeters, because his previous personal best, which he set on December 21 last year at an indoor meeting in Belgrade, was 18.79 m.
