On November 15th at the Ernst-Happel Stadium in Vienna, BiH national team will be a guest to the selection of Austria within UEFA’s Nations League. Three days later, there will be a friendly match with Spain at the Gran Canaria Stadium in Las Palmas.
Earlier, Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH) football team head coach Robert Prosinecki announced a list of names of the players he has called for the upcoming matches against Austria and Spain.
The list includes 24 players, namely: Ibrahim Šehić (Erzurumspor), Asmir Begović (Bournemouth) and Vedran Kjosevski (Željezničar) as goalkeepers. Ognjen Vranješ (Anderlecht), Toni Šunjić (Dinamo Moskva), Ermin Bičakčić (Hoffenheim), Ervin Zukanović (Genoa), Eldar Ćivić (Sparta Prag) and Bojan Nastić (Genk) as defense.
Amer Gojak (Dinamo Zagreb), Muhamed Bešić (Everton/Middlesbrough), Gojko Cimirot (Standard Liege), Miralem Pjanić (Juventus), Elvis Sarić (Suwon Bluewings), Rade Krunić (Empoli), Goran Zakarić (Partizan), Haris Duljević (Dynamo Dresden), Edin Višća (Basaksehir), Deni Milošević (Konyaspor) and Sanjin Prcić (Levante) as midfielders.
Edin Džeko (Roma), Kenan Kodro (Copenhagen), Rijad Bajić (Basaksehir) and Ermedin Demirović (Sochaux) as forwards.
There is a great interest for Nations League match between Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Austrian Football Federation (ÖFB) has announced yesterday that 34,000 tickets were sold for the duel that can bring BiH team to the League, but also to the Austrians can extend the hope of ranking in the senior league of the Nations League.
It is expected that there will be more than 40,000 fans at the “Ernst Happel” in Vienna, which has a capacity of 50,865 seats, and BiH’s fans should get some 15,000 seats.
Andrew Dallas will be the chief referee in the Nations League match between Austria and BiH that will be played in Vienna.
The Scottish referee was elected to share justice on Thursday at 8:45 p.m at Ernst Happel Stadium in a match because of which BiH team could enter in League A.
The thirty-five-year-old referee is the son of a former referee, Hugo Dallas, who is now one of the top men in charge of delegating referees to UEFA competitions.
Andrew has been judging UEFA’s competitions since 2015 and has shown a total of 114 yellow cards at 28 matches, or 4.07 per match. Dallas is an inexperienced referee, given that his career peaked when he was referee in the group stage of the European League.
Dallas will be assisted by Graeme Stewart and David McGeachie, referees behind the goals will be Donald Robertson and Euan Anderson, while Fourth referee will be Sean Carr.
In Group 4 of the UEFA Nations League, BiH is ranked first with a maximum of nine points, the other is Austria with three, while Northern Ireland has zero points. Match with Austria will start at 20:45 in Vienna.
