Mechanism Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz prepares regular Biannual Report on BiH

The Mechanism Chief Prosecutor, Serge Brammertz held a video conference with Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (POBiH), as part of preparations for his regular biannual report to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

They have discussed the status of war crimes processing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, regional judicial cooperation and support from the Mechanism’s Office of the Prosecutor to the POBiH.

It is expected that Prosecutor Brammertz will present his next report to the UNSC in June 2020.

Also, on Tuesday, Brammertz held a telephone meeting with Snezana Stanojkovic, War Crimes Prosecutor of Serbia, as part of preparations for his regular biannual report to the UN Security Council (UNSC).

The Prosecutors discussed, among other issues, the results achieved by the War Crimes Prosecutor’s Office of Serbia in the last six months, the current state of war crimes processing in the Republic of Serbia, regional judicial cooperation and cooperation between the Mechanism OTP and the War Crimes Prosecutor’s Office of Serbia.
