The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, said after today’s joint session of the two governments that the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the Republika Srpska expressed their willingness to work together and create a better environment for citizens and employers, so that they do not leave Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Citizens saw today that the two governments sit and work together, because we are the most responsible persons for solving real life needs,” he said.
He thanked the Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska Radovan Višković for the welcome, and especially the ministers of both governments, stressing that they all worked very constructively.
Nikšić said that they agreed on all points very quickly, and in particular he referred to the agreement that Bosnia and Herzegovina will soon completely ban the export of logs.
“We very quickly agreed that it would be a permanent category,” he said.
He also pointed out that they agreed very quickly that Bosnia and Herzegovina acts with one voice when decisions are made on the disposal of nuclear waste in Trgovska Gora.
“Both governments are working to ensure that Bosnia and Herzegovina acts with one voice when it comes to this. The Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Staša Košarac, visited us a few days ago, with whom we communicated very well on some issues,” he said.
Nikšić emphasized that the atmosphere is very good and that they went through the agenda quickly, when it comes to the lives of citizens and the economy.
“It is important that we talk about what we are going to do,” he said.
He also emphasized that they left some very important topics for the next time, such as the construction of highways.
