BiH to send a Protest Note to Countries that voted against Resolution on Srebrenica

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, said after the adoption of the Resolution on Srebrenica that tomorrow our country will send a note of protest to all 19 countries that voted against it.

“We believe that they side with the perpetrators of war crimes and that they do not respect the judgments of international courts. This is our human obligation,” Konaković said.

He says that this is not a victory or a game, but a fight to position the truth as it deserves.

“It is very important to us that today we did not hear anyone who spoke against facts or facts, except for Vučić. We are expected to have a unified position in BiH with those for whom the Resolution is being passed. The fact that the entire region was on the right track is also important foreign countries, except Serbia. We know that many countries in the region were under pressure, but they showed courage. We will never forget that,” he said.

He adds that Vučić and RS leader Milorad Dodik will have to explain to their people why they talked about collective guilt.

“They were very aggressive. Vučić managed to minimize the great world powers. These are the consequences for which he will have to answer, first of all to the public of Serbia. It has been very difficult to deal with the diplomacy of BiH lately. I would like to thank Lagumdžija, Komšić and Bećirović. We had hundreds of contacts with the embassies of other countries. We broke the lies they asked us about.” He says that they are trying to minimize the number of countries that voted ‘for’, but emphasizes that only 19 countries voted ‘against’.

“It was important to us that the result be positive. The ratio is 4:1 for those who are on the side of the truth,” he said. He called on the neighbors to calm their passions.

“Let them return to the everyday problems that our countries have. We must continue the path to the EU together. Our institutions will respond effectively to all those who work on destabilization”.

He referred to the statements of Milorad Dodik, who once again announces a peaceful separation.

“This statement by Dodik is another in a series of meaningless ones. A few weeks ago, he offered money for an amicable divorce, that speaks of his current state. He brought himself here. By attacking institutions, he ended up in a black hole. He attacked the Court, in front of that Court now he is attacking OHR, now he is going to the elections according to OHR’s rules. Any attempt to act in this sense will be opposed by Dodik and SNSD. They have a tool for blocking and unblocking. My obligation is to sit down with Dodik, even though I don’t want to go to those meetings. But, from those meetings, the biggest success of Bosnia and Herzegovina was born in the last 10 years. We will try to maintain some common priorities. and above all on the way to the EU,” he said, Klix.ba reports.
