The national sitting volleyball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina qualified for the finals of the Paralympic tournament in Rio de Janeiro.
The BiH volleyball players ensured their fifth consecutive performance in the finals of the Paralympic games by defeating the team of Egypt with 3:0 (25:23, 25:16, 25:20).
Opponent of the BiH volleyball team in the fight for the third Paralympic gold will be the national team of Iran who defeated the host Brazil in the second semifinal match with 3:0 (25:20, 25:19, 25:17).
The Iranians were opponents of the BiH team in all four previous final performances at Paralympic Games. BiH team celebrated in Athens in 2004 and in London in 2012, while the Iranians were better in Sydney in 2000 and in Beijing in 2008.
Final match will be played tomorrow, starting from 5 pm.
