BiH will participate in several volleyball tournaments

On 18 January 2013 in Skopje there was the 14th Congress of the Balkan Volleyball Association. Representatives of BiH Volleyball Association were president of the Association Luka Jurić, his deputy Milutin Popović and secretary general of the Association Draženko Haračić.

Delegates of the 14th Congress of the Balkan Volleyball Association made several decisions concerning the upcoming tournaments in 2013:

Tournament in the category of women pioneer will be played in Romania, and BiH will participate in that Tournament. Tournament in the cadet category will be played in BiH.

BiH will play in the women junior tournament in Montenegro and in men junior tournament in Serbia. The Balkans Tournament of beach volleyball U23 for men and women will be played in Macedonia and BiH will participate.

Exact dates of these tournaments are yet to be decided.

During the session of the Congress of the Balkan Volleyball Association an agreement was reached to include BiH, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania in qualifications for World Championship for women. That decision reactivates the appearance of BiH volleyball teams in the international competitions.
