becirovic - amb kineBilateral relations between BiH and China could be assessed as very good and without any open issues, pointed out during today’s meeting in Sarajevo between the Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of the BiH House of Parliament Denis Bećirović and the newly appointed Ambassador of China to our country Dong Chunfeng.

They stated that BiH has a foreign policy interest to continue to improve political, economic, and all other relations with China.

In this light, they emphasized the need for a better quality cooperation of the BiH Parliament and the Chinese Peoples Congress, as the highest legislative body of China, as well as the need to establish and improve ties.

Bećirović and Chunfeng agreed that there has not been enough use of the space for better economic cooperation between the two countries. With this in mind, Bećirović proposed to improve the untapped capacity of bilateral and economic cooperation and to provide a long-term presence to BiH companies on the Chinese market, especially when it comes to exporting products in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry.

Bećirović proposed to expand cooperation in the area of public works, trade, agribusiness, engineering, services and tourism, and especially in health tourism.
