Deputy Chairman of the BIH Council of Ministers and the BIH Minister of Foreign Affairs dr. Zlatko Lagumdžija met with the State Minister in the Ministry of Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and the Minister for Faith and Communities Baroness Sayeed Warsi in London.
Dr. Lagumdžija thanked Baroness Warsi for the generous support to BiH in the area of human rights, and especially for projects that she began in Srebrenica during her earlier stay with the goal for sustainable return and coexistence in this municipality.
He recalled that BiH is in the process of implementing the “Sejdić-Finci” ruling and informed Barones Warsi of the current domestic political situation in BiH.
Baroness Warsi announced her arrival to the anniversary celebration to commemorate the victims of Srebrenica this year as well, and conveyed the support of the government of the United Kingdom that will commemorate the day for the victims of Srebrenica at Lancaster House in London. With this, she expressed the commitment of the UK government for justice and reconciliation in the Balkans.
They exchanged opinions on the violation of human rights and events in Syria and expressed concern for the humanitarian situation in many countries in the world, and especially in post-conflict countries.
