How many Voters from Outside BiH will vote in Local Elections?

electionsThe Central Election Commission of BiH (CIK BiH) adopted the Decision on determining and announcing the number of voters registered in the Central Voters Register to vote outside BiH for local elections this year.

They decided that on the excerpt from the Central Voters Register to vote outside BiH will be a total of 65,453 voters.

Moreover, CIK has adopted a decision to refuse entry into the Central Voters Register to vote outside BiH for 6,718 voters, due to not fulfilling legally prescribed conditions – lack of proof of identity, proof of citizenship, proof of residence, illegible applications etc.

Appeals to the aforementioned decision, which will be published on the website of CIK BiH, can be submitted to the Appellate Division of the Court of BiH, through CIK BiH, until the 15th of August by 00:00 am.

Appeals can be submitted by fax, mail or in person at the premises of CIK BiH in Sarajevo.

CIK BiH called on voters who applied to vote outside BiH to visit the website of CIK BiH and check the status of their application and take advantage of the possibility to appeal.
