BH kickboxer Bahrudin Mahmic won the gold medal at the World Amateur Championship in Kickboxing (WAKO), which was held in Budapest in the period of November 4 to 11, 2017.
This kickboxer from Zenica won the medal after the final fight in a low kick discipline up to – 91 kg against the Serbian kickboxer Bojan Dzepin.
The team of BiH recorded a successful performance at the World Championship in Hungary.
Another kickboxer from Zenica, Ahmed Krnjic, qualified for the finals, and his match is scheduled for later today.
The team of BiH consists of 15 competitors from 12 clubs, and they are led by selector Salko Zildzic, with a team of coaches: Husein Selimovic, Veselin Duricic, Redzep Halilovic and Drazenko Ninic.
