BBI BihaćThe pearl of Krajina, Bihać, should soon get a BBI Center, i.e. a BBI Gallery that will be built at the place of the former cinema Una in the city center. According to the original plan, the BBI Gallery should be opened in September 2017, said the Director of BBI Real Estate Sead Živalj.

The company bought the real estate, the cinema Una in the center of Bihać that has been out of function for several years now, last year during a public bidding procedure. The public call stated that the mentioned location is suitable for construction of a business facility with three underground floors, a ground floor and four regular floors.

“BBI Real Estate organized a competition for the best conceptual design and forwarded the paperwork for obtaining urbanistic permit to the City of Bihać in March 2016. Until this day, we have not obtained the permit nor we know then that will happen. We have requested an explanation from the city authorities, but we still have not received any official explanation,” said Živalj.

It is expected that the facility will have more than 50 retail stores and nearly 150 workers will be employed. The estimated value of the investment is between 10 and 12 million BAM.

BBI Center in Bihać should resemble the facility in Sarajevo. Mostar and Banja Luka were considered as potential locations for construction. The center will be built in a pedestrian zone.
