After refereeing the EuroBasket final in which the German national basketball team defeated Turkey with a score of 88:83, the best Bosnian basketball referee Ademir Zurapović spoke to Federal Television.

This Tuzla native once again confirmed his status as one of the best European referees. Zurapović refereed several group stage and elimination round matches throughout the championship, and FIBA’s trust in him to dispense justice in the final match is a great recognition of his many years of work and professionalism.

With this performance, Zurapović further strengthened Bosnia and Herzegovina’s position on the map of European and world refereeing, thus proving that domestic staff can equally participate in the top international competitions.

Zurapović refereed a large number of matches in the current championship, and also administered justice in the semi-final duel between Greece and Turkey.

The best BiH referee refereed the semi-final of the Olympic Games between the USA and Serbia last year.
