BiH’s Defense Minister to attend the NATO Ministerial Meeting

Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marina Pendes will lead the delegation of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH to the NATO Ministerial Meeting in the form of “Determined Support”, which will take place on Thursday, June 27th 2019 in Brussels.

The meeting will be attended by Defense Ministers from NATO member states and partner countries whose members participate in the peace support mission in Afghanistan. It is expected to discuss political and the military situation in Afghanistan, the continuation of financial support to Afghan security forces, as well as the challenges that can be faced in further carrying out this mission.

Along with Minister Pendes, there will be Assistant to the Minister of Defense for International Cooperation Zoran Sajinovic, Advisor to the Cabinet of Defense Minister Jakov Krizanovic, Head of the Military Section of the BiH Mission to NATO Brigadier Jasmin Cajic and Deputy Head of the Military Part of the BiH Mission to NATO, Brigadier Velibor Purkovic.
