BiH’s Prime Minister extended Congratulations to Ursula von der Leyen

Chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH’s) Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic extended congratulations to Ursula von der Leyen on behalf of the Council of Ministers of BiH and himself on the occasion of her appointment as the President of the European Commission.

In his letter, he stated that the primary foreign policy objective of BiH is integration into the European Union (EU) because they share same geographical area,  cultural and historical heritage, the same challenges and hopes.

“Therefore, I am particularly happy that a person that will lead the European Commission is someone dedicated to strengthening European values ​​of unity, equality, solidarity, security and prosperity.”

He added that authories in BiH are looking forward to future cooperation.

“I wish you success at the head of the European Commission and I invite you to visit Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a region that prides itself of being a focal point of different cultures and shared values,” Zvizdic concluded.
