BiH’s Prime Minister met with Czech Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Denis Zvizdic received on Tuesday in Sarajevo Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Tomas Petřícek and informed him of the current political and economic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairman Zvizdic thanked for the support the Czech Republic has provided for BiH to advance the integration processes. He also expressed gratitude for assistance with addressing the issue of illegal migrants coming to BiH.

Minister Petříček said that the Czech Republic supported the path of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Union and offered assistance in the transfer of knowledge and experience in this regard.

Chairman Zvizdic and Minister Petřícek agreed that bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Czech Republic are good and open questions and stressed that there is room for improving economic relations and improving economic cooperation.

They also talked about the possibilities of cooperation in the field of culture, education, tourism, as well as cooperation in the fields of energy, agriculture, road and rail infrastructure.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Bosnia and Herzegovina Jakub Skalnik.
