Bike Park Velež is opening on Saturday

mountain-biking-holidays-11Youth club ‘Novi Val’ has called all interested to visit Podveležje-Blagaj on the occasion of finishing the works on installing bike signalization for ‘Bike Park’ Velež. The project was supported by Italian organization ‘OXFAM’ and tourist association of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and the project was implemented by ‘Novi Val’ and Association ‘MTBA’ from Sarajevo.

Project included wider area of the Velež Mountain and signalisation was set on all paths in this area which are perfect for mountain biking, length 200 kilometres.

Gathering of cyclists is on Saturday 13 April at 10 a.m. near Rail station, and after that they will go towards Blagaj and all cyclists will get marked maps and during the entire road, there will be an assistant vehicle and police assistance during the crossing of the road.

On 14 April there will be the first race of mountain biking, so that all the visitors that plan to visit Mostar this weekend will have the opportunity to enjoy a biking weekend.
