Bill to amend the Criminal Code of BiH was submitted in the House of Representatives

The Democratic Front club of MPs in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina submitted the Bill on Amendments to the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the parliamentary procedure.

The proposed amendment to the law foresees that whoever undermines the sovereignty of BiH through political or other public or secret activities, enabling any subject of international law (state or supranational international organization), to influence the process of adopting the constitution, laws, decisions and other acts of Bosnia and Herzegovina or participation in the adoption of the constitution, laws, decisions and other acts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, shall be punished by a prison sentence of at least five years.

It also defines that whoever, through their political or other public or secret actions, transfers the sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina to any subject of international law (state or supranational international organization), in such a way as to enable that subject of international law to actively, through direct or indirect mediation participates in the adoption of the constitution, laws, decisions and other acts of BiH, shall be punished by a prison sentence of at least five years.

They add that it is also unacceptable and inadmissible to include any subject of international law, be it another sovereign state or a supranational international organization, in the process of passing laws, decisions and other acts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
