Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) Denis Zvizdić will participate in the Interparliamentary Conference on Stability, Economic Coordination and Governance in the European Union (EU) which, as part of the European Parliamentary Week 2023 is to be held on February 27 and 28 in Brussels.
The program of the Conference, jointly organized by the European Parliament and the Parliament of Sweden, the country that currently chairs the European Council, includes opening speeches by the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, and the President of the Swedish Parliament, Andreas Norlen, as well as officials from the European Commission and the Organization for Economic Security and Cooperation (OECD).
It is expected that, during the two-day work of the Conference, parliamentarians and experts from EU countries and the region discuss current economic and social challenges, especially the issue of the energy crisis and inflation.
During his stay in Brussels, Chairman Zvizdić will have a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of the European Parliament and EU officials, announced the Public Relations Department of the BiH Parliament.
