Bimal is First Company in Region with Danube Soy Certificate

bimal_certifikatThe company Bimal d.d. was awarded the international certificate of Danube Soya from the certification company SGS with headquarters in Switzerland in accordance with European requirements and guidelines of the Association of Danube Soy with headquarters in Vienna. Danube Soy Certificate to Bimal was presented by representatives of SGS Company Belgrade that conducted the certification in this company.

With the introduction of this standard, Bimal became the first company in the former Yugoslavia that implemented Danube soy standards that covers the purchase of soybeans, soybean trade as the primary processing of soybean and semi-finished products and will now place its soybean oil, raw oils, edible oils, protein buckshot and soy lechitin under the Dunabe soy standard.

Association Dunabe Soya was formed with the aim of encouraging the high production of non-GMO soybeans in countries of the Danube region and reducing European dependence on imports of oilseeds, which is currently over 95 percent.
