mujceYesterday morning, the main streets of Sarajevo were a training ground for hundreds of runners who participated in the first spring race on 5 kilometers through the city.

Among them was Mustafa Mehic also known as “Mujce”, the first blind person in BiH who ran Sarajevo half marathon last year.

Mujce (21), with the help of his coach Tomislav Cvitanusic, managed to ran a five-kilometer race in about half an hour and he was not lagging far behind those who were among the first ones to reach the goal.

This race, the first official one after the half marathon was easy for him but made him feel good.

He will start to actively train long jump soon, and the coach that he recently met will help him with this.

The public heard about Mustafa for the first time last year when, with the help of his coach Tomislav Cvitanusic, he became the first blind person in BiH who ran half marathon, and his great sports and the human story went all around the region and touched and inspired many people.
