Association of citizens “Why not” and the platform Istinomjer presented the results of monitoring the fulfillment of the pre-election promises of the parties that were in power in the mandate from 2022 to 2026.
According to the results of the monitoring, the work of the state authorities was marked by blockades, which affected the small number of realized promises. The Council of Ministers of BiH fulfilled 20 of the total of 251 monitored promises.
At the federal level, 13 percent of the promises were realized. In the monitoring, it was assessed that the coalition at the state level was more mathematical than programmatic, which made progress difficult.
Even the government in the Republika Srpska did not fulfill most of its promises. Out of 106 promises, only five were fulfilled. The Government of the Canton of Sarajevo was also monitored, which was assessed to have realized 25 percent of its promises.
In the monitoring, it is stated that in the field of economy, almost everything that the parties promised in connection with VAT changes, luxury taxation and progressive taxation remained unfulfilled.
