The border crossing Kozarska Dubica - Hrvatska Dubica will be reopened for international passenger traffic from today, after almost a year and a half, said the mayor of Kozarska Dubica, Radenko Reljic.

Reljic stated that the decision on temporary international passenger traffic through the permanent border crossing for border traffic Kozarska Dubica-Hrvatska Dubica was signed by the presidents of the BiH and Croatian delegations in the Joint Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the Border Agreement Bozo Zovko and Zoran Niceno.

"This decision is especially important for both Kozarska and Hrvatska Dubica, and the congestion at the border crossing in Donja Gradina will be reduced," Reljic said after the session of the Mixed Commission.

He pointed out that he was glad that this crossing was reopened after almost a year and a half, and he was especially pleased with the announcements that there was a real possibility and that it would be re-categorized into a permanent international crossing for passenger traffic, Srna news agency writes.
