The Vracenovici border crossing between Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina, on the Niksic-Bileca road, will be closed to traffic starting Thursday, February 27th due to the construction of a modern joint crossing, and works are scheduled to be completed by June 1st, according to the Montenegrin Ministry of the Interior (MUP).
The statement said the money for the construction of the border crossing was secured through sectoral EU budget support to improve the system of integrated border management.
The Interior Ministry said that during the closure of the Vracenovici border crossing, traffic would be diverted to other border crossings for international passenger and goods traffic.
