Bosnia and Herzegovina has a chance to show its true colors on the biggest basketball stage again tonight! After a convincing victory against Cyprus, the Dragons face a much tougher test – a duel against the European giants Spain.
Although the current European champions suffered an unpleasant defeat against Georgia at the start of the competition, the Spaniards will certainly seek redemption against our team. But, the Bosnian basketball players are ready, full of energy and faith that they can make a surprise.
Coach Adis Bećiragić clearly stated that the team is both physically and mentally ready:
– The duel with the Spaniards seems to be the most important for us because victory can bring a lot. We are ready both physically and mentally… I want to play hard and with experience, that is an important thing for us. That is our basic game and we should not go outside of that framework – Bećiragić emphasized.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team faces the current European champions, Spain, in the second round of Group C at EuroBasket 2025 tonight. The match will be played at the Spyros Kyprianou Arena in Limassol starting at 20:30 CET and will be refereed by Jorge Vazquez (Puerto Rico), Gvidas Gedvilas (Lithuania) and Ventsislav Velikov (Bulgaria). on the Federal Television program.
