Paraswimming representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ismail Barlov continued with great results on the second day of the competition at the World Series meeting in Egypt.
A competitor of the SPID Swimming Club from Sarajevo competed today in the 50-meter breaststroke and won a gold medal in the senior A final. His club and national team colleague Ismail Zulfić managed to reach the junior finals in this morning’s qualifiers, finishing the performance in sixth place.
BH duo also excelled on the first day of competition in Cairo yesterday. Ismail Barlov won a silver medal in the senior and a gold medal in the junior competition in the 150-meter medley with a state record swim and confirmed second A norm for the Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024.
Ismail Zulfić won silver among the juniors in the 200 medley and also set a state record.
The paraswimming team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by coach Amel Kapo, will end its performance in Cairo on Sunday, Klix.ba reports.
