The Regional School for Public Administration (ReSPA) held the 14th meeting of the Administrative Board at the ministerial level on Tuesday in Tirana.

Ministers in charge of public administration reform from ReSPA member states, as well as high representatives of the European Commission (EC) and members of the ReSPA Board of Directors at the level of senior officials, praised the achievements of ReSPA in the past year.

This year is marked as one of the key ones for the further strategic orientation of ReSPA.

ReSPA member ministers fully supported the ReSPA agreement and mandate until 2031, while the European Commission proved its full commitment and support within the upcoming 5th EC Action Grant 2023-2025, and the content of the revised ReSPA strategy 2019-2024 was also agreed upon.

These results could not have been achieved without the strong support and excellent cooperation between government representatives involved in ReSPA management structures, working groups, liaison officers, EU representatives, numerous experts engaged in various fields, as well as exceptional ReSPA staff.

Traditionally, this meeting of ReSPA members is held to hand over and take over the annual chairmanship of ReSPA.

This time, Minister Milva Ekonomi, chairman of the Board of Directors, handed over the chairmanship of ReSPA to BiH Minister of Justice Josip Grubeša, who stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina will cooperate closely with ReSPA and make significant efforts to further strengthen the mission and activities of ReSPA in the region during the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
