Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency Member Sefik Dzaferovic will visit Bratunac and Srebrenica today, and during his visit to Podrinje, Dzaferovic will lay flowers for the victims of genocide, and visit the Srebrenica-Potocari Memorial Center.

A BiH Presidency member will attend a panel titled “The Future of Srebrenica”, which will be held at the Bosnian Cultural Center in Srebrenica beginning at 12:00 o’clock.

Dzaferovic said in Sarajevo on Wednesday that commemorating January 9th as Day of Republika Srpska is an unconstitutional act and a criminal act, which is why BiH institutions should act.

At the opening of the conference “Legal and Political Consequences of the Declaration on the Proclamation of the Republic of Serbian People of Bosnia-Herzegovina on January 9, 1992”, Dzaferovic emphasized that those who commit the criminal offense of contempt of the Constitutional Court should be prosecuted.- The Declaration on the Proclamation of the Republic of the Serbian People of Bosnia and Herzegovina on January 9, 1992 is the beginning of its evil in BiH, and this act was a blow to the constitutional order of BiH and is contrary to international law – Dzaferovic warned.

He points out that genocide and mass atrocities in BiH began on that day, as confirmed by numerous decisions of The Hague Tribunal and the Court of BiH.
