izlozbaThe exhibition entitled “I’m a child only once” organized by Hope and Homes for Children association was open today at 12:00 o’clock in the Bosniak Institute – Adil Zulfikarpašić’s Foundation.

It’s an exhibition of photos of children growing up in foster families and children without parents growing up in foster homes by the photographer Velija Hasanbegović.

The organization Hope and Homes for children is trying to promote every child’s right to grow up surrounded by a warm and caring family.

Besides the exhibition, an art performance was held too by three artists from the Academy of performing arts Sarajevo; Arma Tanović-Branković, Dženita Imamović-Omerović and Maja Salkić.

Foster care is a form of children’s care in another replacement family in cases when there is no chance for the family to take care of a child. Foster care provides a safe home in which every child has the possibility to be taken care of with love and to be educated.
