Bosnian buys a new Mercedes almost every Year, he had over 50 of them

Stojan Milicevic from Herzegovina, who has been living in Germany for many years, in the city of Calw, is probably the record holder for the number of new Mercedes he has bought in the last 55 years.

During his life he drove between 55 and 60 Mercedes and they were all owned by him.

His son Zeljko Milicevic, who nominated him in the “Herzegovinian of the Year” contest, says that for the past 55 years, his father has bought a new Mercedes almost every year, and he bought the last one in 2023. In August, he will buy a brand new Mercedes again.

“Love for Mercedes is in the blood of the people of Herzegovina,” says this 86-year-old pensioner jokingly.

Stojan arrived in Germany in 1966, where he worked as a construction worker for a year. Then, in 1967, he got a job at the Mercedes-Benz Sindelfingen factory. That factory is considered one of the world’s leading centers for safety, innovation and design in the production of vehicles of higher and luxury class in a global production network.

Stojan worked at the Mercedes-Benz factory until 1998, when he retired.

Since his retirement, Stojan and his wife Anka spend part of the year in Herzegovina, i.e. in Capljina, and the remaining time in Calw, Germany. Stojan and Anka are parents of three children and have two grandchildren.

Maybe the job at the Mercedes factory was the reason why Stojan fell in love with Mercedes because he says he had more than 50 new Mercedes in his life. Today, he owns two Mercedes.

According to Stojan, he bought his first Mercedes back in 1969, and since then he has bought a new Mercedes almost every year.

“Unfortunately, we don’t have photos of all those Mercedes cars, but we do have a photo of his first Mercedes from 1969. Namely, Mercedes workers have the right even after retirement, with a big discount, to buy new Mercedes for the rest of their lives,” says Stojan’s son Zeljko, Klix.ba reports.
