There are very few of those who can resist smartphone games, and Emir Basic from Sarajevo, who lives in Lisbon, Portugal, is no exception. He plays football simulation Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 and he is currently the third player in the world.

He considers skill of playing as the most important, but there are other important factors as well.

“Skills are the most important. Therefore, the moment you notice that you have the aggression, dribbling, the final game, that you can play both long and short balls and score goals after center shots, then you know that you are a complete player. Creativity is also important, as well as something that will make you recognizable among others. You need to be effective and killer, not just to play nicely. Formation is also very important, and the middle of the terrain is especially important for me,” noted Emir.

He is satisfied with the third place, but he feels no pressure to be the first. Fun is his main priority.

“Chances to be the first this month are small, there is too big difference in comparison to the players that are in front of me. I am hoping to be in the third place this month. I might be the first in the upcoming months if I continue this pace, but I would need a lot of time for playing and making progress. I think that I will not go further, third place is enough satisfaction for me. I am glad that a Bosnian made it to the top,” stated Basic.

Some people might say that games are just for losing time, while others claim that they rest them, and that they enjoy playing them.

“If something makes person feel good and does not have a negative effect on his health condition and finances, that is good. Playing games develops reflexes, brings fun to you and your friends. It is only bad if it becomes obsession and addiction,” said this young man from Sarajevo.
