Foodini2BiH has a rich history, as well as unused gastro-cultural resources that are not getting enough of attention not only among those who are visiting our country but also among the people in our country. With the aim of preservation and paying attention to this problem, as well as the rich culinary and cultural traditions of our country, Bosnian gastro-fest revived the spirit of the Bosnian Kingdom with colorful and fun educational program, in which numerous visitors enjoyed.

Within the program of the festival was presented the rich gastronomic offer of traditional Bosnian cuisine and artworks, and the variety of these offers was contributed by the representatives of the Association of women in rural development “Zvijezda (Star)” from Vares, Women’s association Strica from Zarudjee, Bosniak community of culture Preporod from Vares, Association of women Budozelje, the Forum of women Pogar, Association Izvorno Varesko and Association of citizens Sultanov konak from Kraljeva Sutjeska.

Saban Ibrisimovic, the President of the “Guardians of the Bosnian crown Bobovac” especially emphasized the need to nurture history, traditional gastronomy and multiculturalism and he also noted the important role and potential that organizations of civil society have in achieving this goal.

“This was a great opportunity to remember what kind of gastro-cultural resources we have at our disposal, as well as to draw attention on how often we forget about the cultural treasure of our tradition and history. It is time to recognize the potential that we have and think ahead about how to improve our potentials and how to use them in order to develop sustainable tourism in the context of wider progress,” as said from the Association PROI.
