Bosnian Minister of Security Fahrudin Radoncic said His Proposal to tackle Migrants Crisis will not be supported

Bosnian Minister of Security, Fahrudin Radoncic, said that it is clear that his proposal to tackle the migrant crisis and “to deport all illegal migrants who do not want to show their identity in Bosnia and Herzegovina” will not be supported.

“This was demonstrated by the reaction of Chairman of Presidency of BiH Sefik Dzaferovic and the country’s Foreign Minister Bisera Turkovic, who met with the Ambassador of Pakistan to BiH Muhammad Khalid Rao. In doing so, they have taken on a completely different concept of resolving this issue than mine. I am sorry that Dzaferovic favors the interest of illegal economic migrants who do not want to respect the institutions of this country and the police structures to reveal their identity instead of protecting the interests of BiH citizens, which is his constitutional and moral obligation,” said Radoncic.

Security Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fahrudin Radoncic said on Federal Television on Wednesday that Bosnia and Herzegovina will not be a European parking lot for migrants and that 10,000 of them will be deported from our country, Klix.ba news portal reports.

“My position is accurate, yesterday I gave instructions to the director of the Foreign Affairs Office, Slobodan Ujic, to request that 9 to 10 thousand illegal economic migrants be enlisted to see how to deport them from BiH. Let’s see who agrees to voluntary deportation and we will see what to do with thousands of those who don’t want to show a passport to see who they are. It’s a huge security problem, it’s ruining the lives of our citizens, “Radoncic said.

He stressed that he would not now deal with refugees from Syria because this is another problem that needs to be addressed.

He also claims that being aware of the deportation decision will not appeal to some EU countries, but that does not mean that BiH is inhumane.

“All these migrants come from countries that are richer than BiH and must be deported. Let the EU, instead of giving money to keep them here, to give the money to deport them. We are not inhumane, but now we will have 40-50 thousand unemployed, and we keep 10,000 migrants who are waiting for BiH to be a parking lot for Europe, it cannot go like this, ” Radoncic said.
