The Extreme Sports Club “Limit” from Bihac will organize cycling marathon Bihac – Srebrenica again this year, and Elvir Alisic, who lives and works in Cologne, will be one of the participants.

His dream to cross the entire homeland with bicycle is finally becoming a reality. He noted that his preparations for this marathon lasted for six months.

Preparations for the cycling marathon Bihac – Srebrenica started long time ago, and Elvir is one of the 300 participants. Great physical ability is requested for this 500-kilometer-long track.

“I wanted to visit my homeland on a bicycle. I discovered the marathon Bihac – Srebrenica online. For me, a great motivation e is the motto of the marathon “Never forget and never repeat,” stated Alisic.

Participants of the cycling marathon will travel for three days and they pass about 160 kilometers per day.

Elvir came to Germany when he was 12 years old and he has never been to Srebrenica before. However, he has a special reason for participation in the marathon.

“I have a very good friend from Srebrenica whose father was killed and I want to pay tribute to him,” noted Alisic.
