Bosnian Izabela Vidovic will play with the famous Julia Roberts in one of the last Hollywood movies, a beautiful family story “Wonder”. They played mother and daughter in a film based on the American bestseller by Raquel J. Palacio. The famous actor Owen Wilson played her father in this movie.

This is not her first Hollywood role. Even though she is only 16 years old, she played more than 20 important roles in her biography, including the one in the “Homefront”, in which she played with Jason Statham, and she appeared in the series “Bones” as well.

She had to attend several auditions in order to get the role of Auggi’s sister Vie in the movie “Wonder”. However, hard work, strong dedication, learning and research, finally paid off. Izabela noted the role of Charlotte in the film “100” as the most challenging one.

Izabela had the opportunity to work with veterans of the film industry so far and she noted that she learned a lot from all that work and cooperation. She noted that she would love to work with Kate Winslet in the future, while as the actress who had the largest influence on her career she noted her mom Elizabeta.

Acting is a passion for this talented 16-year-old, but she loves writing scripts and directing as well.

She is currently directing the movie “Severes Silence”, a horror movie that will be released soon. She loves preparing traditional Bosnian food in her free time, as her mother taught her. Although she was born in Chicago, Izabella’s parents who are originally from Busovaca, were always working on reminding her and her sister on their roots and Bosnian culture. That is why Izabela speaks Bosnian language as well.
