Vedran Zubic, currently the most famous professor of geography in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), received an award in India yesterday for being one of the best professors in the world.
”We are proud of Vedran Zubic! Bravo! Watch a short film about Vedran Zubic, a geography professor at the Gymnasium Dobrinja in Sarajevo, a true hero of BiH,” the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) stated.
”While we keep our jobs and have less and less time for our children, do we know who is raising and educating them?”
”We present to you those who, despite the lack of support from the system, do not give up in order to make our future better. This is the majority of educators, teachers, and professors. The story of teacher Vedran from Sarajevo begins with teaching that crosses all boundaries of the classical way. Meet the real heroes!”
Vedran Zubic, professor of geography, was named the best professor in 2017 by his students. He was born in Sarajevo in 1975. Since 1983, he has lived in Dobrinja, a Sarajevo settlement, which, as he said, is his personal and professional ”framework”.
For more than 20 years, he worked at the Gymnasium Dobrinja.
To recall, in May 2021, Zubic was declared technologically redundant at the Gymnasium Dobrinja in Sarajevo.
Moreover, Zubic is a professor who, with his original approach to students, contributed to many of them becoming interested in school activities, especially geography and good social habits, Klix.ba reports.
