The Bosnian association “Ljiljan”, which brings together Bosnians and Herzegovinians in Valecamonica-Sebino Lombardy region, organized the second Marcia Della pace (Peace March) in the Italian Alps on July 7th, commemorating the Srebrenica genocide.

The Peace March departed from the famous Borno holiday resort in the Alps, and more than 120 Bosnians in the company of 100 Italians paid tribute to innocent victims not only of Srebrenica but also of entire Bosnia and Herzegovina with exhibition of photographs of the massacre, mass graves, concentration camps …

Nermin Fazlagic, an activist of the Bosnian association “Stećak” from Verona, held a lecture on events in the period 92′-95, about the genocide in Srebrenica, the other mass murders in BiH, and The Hague judgments.

“Our job is to keep the memory of the suffering and persecution of our people with the hope that next year we will be more numerous and that we will spread the truth with the new route of the Peace March,” said Mirza Ramic from the Ljiljan association, Vijesti.ba news portal reports.
