U SARAJEVU ZAPOÈELA BRANDING KONFERENCIJABranding conference 04 began this morning in Sarajevo dedicated to the impact of globalization and regionalization, trends and market changes caused by the development of digital media, linking creativity and innovation, as well as practical examples and experience of implementing new marketing strategies.

The focus of the conference, organized by the communications agency Via Media, is on innovations and trends, as well as on how economic, political, technological, cultural and environmental factors influence the development of the market and the consumers themselves.

The welcome speech is held by partner & new business manager of marketing agency Via Media Vesna Beganović, followed by the Ambassador of Slovenia to B&H Iztok Grmek.

Beganović stated that from the conference expects many new examples of branding from the entire market.
“We have presentations of global, regional and local campaigns, then how our brands can adopt such practices. Among 50 brands in the region, B&H has only one and that is Bimal. There are only two in the market of B&H”, said Beganović stressing that investment in branding in B&H is not yet significant.

Slovenian Ambassador Iztok Grmek in his welcome speech stressed that Slovenia supports Branding Conference.

“I really believe that in this economic space, B&H has so many good brands that need to develop, promote, and I hope that this conference will contribute to this process”, said Grmek.
He mentioned the fact that Slovenia in former Yugoslavia made eight percent of the total population of the country, and in the structure of GDP and exports from 25 to 30 percent.

“This was particularly contributed to some brands such as Gorenje, Krka, Elan. These are 50 – 60 years old brands that have been developed and therefore the marketing and branding in Slovenia gives a great importance. There are good products in B&H that need to have a good marketing”, added Grmek.
