Opportunity for Youth: Business Start Up Fond Established

BSFTKMinistry of Development and Entrepreneurship of Tuzla Canton has decided to create a program proposal for the launch of “Business start up fond for youth of Tuzla Canton”, which was adopted by Government of Tuzla Canton on 2.12. 2013. In this regard, Ministry has established cooperation with YEP project- Youth Employment Project in B&H, financed by Swiss Agency for development and cooperation (SDC), which will support the program “Business start up fond for youth of Tuzla Canton”.

The main goal of this program is to contribute to the economic development of Tuzla Canton through enabling conditions for the youth self employment and raising the entrepreneurial spirit in Tuzla Canton. All the young people of age 18-35, residents of Tuzla Canton, who has business ideas and want to start their own businesses can apply for participation in this program. More additional information on conditions of applying will be available at the beginning of 2014 when will be published the Public Call for the selection of program candidates.

100 young people will be selected on the basis of application within the framework of the Public call, and they will attend the business education with special emphasis on the creation of a business plan. A grant of 9.000 BAM (3.000 BAM per each business plan) will be provided for the three best business ideas.
