brčko 2Under the auspices of the government of Brčko District on occasion of the entry of Croatia to the EU, yesterday in the Cultural Center of Brčko a night of baroque music performed by the symphony orchestra “Bell Arte” from Sarajevo took place.

The Mayor of Brčko Anto Domić said that with this concert, Brčko District wishes to express its satisfaction with the accession of Croatia to the EU, which would certainly mean the support of EU states for BiH’s path towards the EU.

“We will continue to cooperate and believe that BIH in the near future would have the opportunity to mark such a moment, and until then more work, effort and cooperation is needed with our neighbors in order to show Europe and the world that BiH could meet all standards that are placed in front of it’’, said Mayor Domić.

He added that there are a lot of obligations facing BIH that are necessary to complete in order to achieve the assumptions and use the benefits to its advantage so that BiH could develop economically, politically and in every other sense.

Domić said that there are big opportunities for Brčko District because it is a border zone and it could cooperate with local communities and with regions in Croatia through many projects.
