Office for Regional Cooperation of European Movement in BiH Opened in Velika Kladuša

kladusa.netOn the premises of the municipality of Velika Kladuša, there was an official ceremony yesterday to mark the opening of an office for regional cooperation-the cantonal office of the European Movement to BiH for the Una-Sana Canton, announced on the website kladusa.net.

The office of the European Movement was opened by the Mayor of the municipality of Velika Kladuša Edin Behrić, President of the European Movement in BiH Predrag Praštalo and the Ambassador of Austria to BiH Donatus Koeck. The Chief of the Fourth Police Department of Velika Kladuša Šero Družić attended the opening also.

This is the fifth office of the European Movement in BIH, which is specific because it is the first office for regional cooperation. Thus, according to Predrag Praštalo, all activities of the European Movement towards Croatia, Serbia and the rest of the surrounding countries will be coordinated from Velika Kladuša and the Una-Sana Canton.

The coordinator of activities of the European Movement on behalf of municipality of Velika Kladuša will be Enes Halilović, and the first activity of the cantonal office of the European Movement will be an organization of the joint meeting of all mayors of the Una-Sana Canton in Velika Kladuša, so that the European Movement in BiH and municipality of Velika Kladuša would offer all other municipalities in the Canton partnership with the aim to take part in the process of European integration as one strong team.

A visit of Mayor Behrić and President Praštalo is planned to cities that are partners of the European Movement, to Subotica and Zagreb, in order to establish concrete regional cooperation.
