The government of the Brčko district in BiH adopted a budget proposal for 2013 in the amount of 224.675.535 KM at a special session on Friday.

Most of the revenues are from tax funds amounting to around 172,5 million KM, and non-tax revenues that are slightly higher than 25 million KM, while the rest of the funds are in the amount of 24 million KM transferred from the capital budget in recent years, said FENA.

On the expenditure side of the budget, the salaries and benefits of employees in the Brčko district institutions this year will cost around 72 million KM. 29 million are planned for material costs and a significant increase in grants compared to the previous period relate to the future smooth functioning of public institutions.

For the Health Center and public company “Putevi Brčko” (Roads of Brčko), the mayor Anto Domić said that this budget has tried to respond to the demands of the moment in terms of relieving para-fiscal levies, as well as establishing more simple procedures in the administration.
