Bridge on the Sava River in Gradiška for the improvement of cooperation

RS Minister of Transport and Communications Nedeljko Čubrilović and Croatian Minister of Economy Ivan Vrdoljak said that all the necessary conditions for the issuance of a building permit are met, and now an international tender for contractors for the construction of the bridge on the Sava river in Gradiska must be announced, and selected before the start of the new construction season.

Ministers agreed that the construction of the bridge, which will connect Banjaluka-Gradiška highway with the Zagreb-Lipovac highway on the Pan-European corridor H which is of great importance for the development of road traffic as well as the improvement of economic, trade and other forms of cooperation.

At the meeting in Zagreb, Čubrilović said that 50% of bridge’s value will be given by RS, which could be used for the construction in the first year, and that financing the construction in the second year should be financed by the Government of Croatia.
