Brilliant Students Near Regional Glory: Bosnia Reaches ABA 2 League Finals!

The second game of the ABA 2 League semi-final series in which Bosna hosted the Vojvodina team. The final score of the game was 75:66 in favor of Studenati! With this victory, Bosna scheduled the ABA 2 League final in which they will play against Ilirija.

The game did not start ideally for Students, and there was generally a lack of rhythm in Bosna’s game. Bosna’s recognizable sign – defense, was absent in the first quarter.

When you add to that a slightly worse attack in the first quarter, it is clear why after the first quarter the score was 14:21 in favor of Vojvodina.

However, the second quarter brought incredible team play by Bosna’s basketball players, and they really played phenomenally and in addition to making up for -7, they managed to take a four-point lead before the halftime break.

In the first half, not a single basketball player from Bosna had a game that could be said to have led the team alone, because it was truly a team game.
In the rest of the game, that game continued, but Haris Delalić stood out in particular, who with a series of points created a Bosna lead of as much as +11 at the end of the third quarter.

The students, carried by a full Skenderija, really came to a big lead, but Vojvodina also managed to reduce the lead with a good game in the last minute.

The score at the end of the third quarter was 52:45, and it was clear that this advantage would be of great importance in the final quarter.

It should be noted that Asim Gutić also saw more minutes in this game, as well as Marinković, who had an excellent role on the floor, especially in the defensive segment of the game, as well as the jumping segment of the game.

All of this brought width to the Bosnian team, while Dimitrius Underwood was without minutes tonight, who, to be honest, has not had any brilliant games lately.

Also, Austin Luke, unlike the game in Novi Sad, was practically flawless tonight. His “acrobatics” and passes made absolute sense tonight and he excelled in giving the offense an advantage.

In the final quarter, in the first two minutes, there was no major change in the score, and Bosnia increased the advantage to +10 and maintained it in the opening minutes of the final quarter.

Bosna went to +11 with 6:39 left, when Petar Kovačević scored for Bosna after a phenomenal action for three points! Adin Vrabac also scored excellently after him, who scored for two, and then an additional throw.

Vojvodina was left alive with three minutes left by Stajičić, who scored for three points and reduced Bosna’s lead to 69:60.

Generally, Stajičić was one of the most efficient in the ranks of Vojvodina, and along with Rebrača and Smith, he was the only one with double-digit scoring performance among the guests from Vojvodina.
After Stajičić, Ljubičić scored for three points, and created a layup, reducing Bosna’s lead to 69:63, but Haris Delalić on the other side immediately responded and increased it to +8 for the Students.
Excellent defense by Kovačević followed, and Bosna entered the last two minutes with an eight-point lead and an attack to further increase the lead.

Jarrod West succeeded in this, hitting two shots, and Bosna entered the last minute with an advantage. Although it was quite interesting in the very end of the game, in the end, the Students celebrated a great victory.

KK Bosna is thus one step away from the regional basketball elite or as the whole Skenderija said at the end – Bosna will be the champion again!
