British Council is Organizing Conference on Professional Development for Teachers

The British Council is organizing a regional conference on continuing professional development for teachers, which will be held on 26 February in Sarajevo.

The OSCE Mission to BiH, Agency for Preschool, Primary and Secondary Education, Ministry of Civil Affairs, as well as other Ministries and pedagogical institutes in BiH support the conference.

At the conference, representatives of countries from the region, as well as Great Britain will share experiences and best practices in the process of building a functioning system of professional development for teachers with representatives of the education sector in BiH.

Participants in the conference will address the British Ambassador to BiH Nigel Casey, Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH Sredoje Nović and the Director of the Human Dimension Department of the OSCE to BiH Trefor Williams.

Apart from the representatives of the educational institutions in BiH, speakers from Great Britain and relevant educational institutions from the region (Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Slovenia) will attend.
