Today, British producers Gary Hills and Mike Griffiths will hold a workshop in Sarajevo National Theatre. The workshop will deal with production and selection, and will be held tomorrow as well.
People from different theatres will attend workshops which is being organised by International Theatre Festival MESS and British Council.
Art manager of MESS Festival Selma Spahić said that the workshops will give the opportunity to learn from experience of the UK experts, and they’ll help creating of theatre platform in BiH which will enable joint projects between theatres and cities.
Manager of projects of British Council Amila Lagumdžija said that the workshops will show modes of cooperation and new methods of creative production.
Gary Hills is a renowned producer and art manager mentor; some of his most important clients are Art Council of England, Farnham Maltings, Royal Shakespeare Company, etc.
Mire Griffiths is an experience production manager of Traverse Theatre and he produced over 60 new and international plays.
